Darkmoon Faire Quest Additions

So, the Darkmoon Faire's back in town! As always, there's an aray of fun "mini-game" style quests that award tickets that can be turned in for fun prizes!

Here we can see the current map of the Darkmoon Faire! In patch 5.1, the carousel (circled in green) provides characters an opportunity to gain additional XP and reputation.

An idea I had was to add a few more fun quests to the zone! Turbo Trikes!

Turbo trikes would go in the spot where the red circle is, and be like the bumper car ride you see at your standard carnivals! While the fairgrounds itself is a sanctuary (in which horde and alliance can’t fight) that doesn’t mean there’s no strong rivalry between the two factions! In fact, my turbo trikes quest ties right into that!

At the big tent, you’ll see a goblin and a gnome both tossing rude glances at each other and egging the other on! The goblin will offer the below quest:

Thump and Bump
Slam your trike into 10 Alliance riders.

Description
Psst, over here! You like destruction? You like mayhem? Well, have I got a deal for you! For just one Darkmoon Game Token I’ll rent you one of my Turbo-Powered, Blast-o-tronic Thumper Trikes to ride around in the arena.

If you can slam your trike into 10 Alliance riders, I’ll slip you some prize tickets on the down low.

Completion
ATTABOY! Now take this and get out, and don’t tell no-one where you got ‘em.

And the gnome would offer the following quest:

Bump and Thump
Slam your strider into 10 Horde riders.

Description
Salutations! You strike me as the type of individual who enjoys a good rabble-rousing every once and a while! For just one game token, I’ll allow you to assist me with testing out a new type of mechanostrider. I present, the Blast-Powered, Turbotronic SUPER Strider!

If you can slam your strider into 10 Horde riders, in addition to my approbation, I’ll provide you with some prize tickets!

Completion
MARVELOUS! As promised, you have my gratitude, and prize tickets of course.

The way these quests would work is the players would enter a vehicle that looked like an appropriate mount for their faction. The vehicle would function like the Argent Tournament mounts and they would receive a button that allows them to jerk their vehicle forward. If they manage to slam into an opposite faction player or NPC, they will receive quest credit and damage the opposing vehicle. Each vehicle has 10 health and getting slammed deals 1 damage.

On top of having to slam opposing vehicles, players will have to avoid being slammed themselves!

To further clarify how the mechanic would work, instead of functioning like the Charge ability at the Argent Tournament (where you target an enemy, get far enough away, and then slam towards them) the ability would function more like a monk’s Glyphed Flying Serpent Kick. Upon contact with an enemy bumper, they will stop, stun the enemy and get credit towards the quest (if they’re on it).
